has jumped aboard the Facebook-driven handset train, joining the pseudo frenzy set off by HTC’s release of the and (rebranded the state-side) each stocked with their own dedicated Facebook buttons only a few months back. The Motorola EX225 (not quite as catchy as the aforementioned devices) will be outfitted with a 2.4 inch landscape display, full QWERTY keyboard and pledges deep Facebook UI integration.

Interestingly enough, questions have been raised over whether or not it will run on the Android OS, as there is no clear presence of any Android buttons such as the search or home keys in the leaked images of the device. The possibility remains however, that Motorola may include physical Android buttons or even invisible buttons much like the Nexus S.

Presently there is no indication of when or where the EX225 will be released, so all you extreme Facebook enthusiasts out there will be left to wait with bated breath for further details.

Google Maps hit version 5.10 today, bringing a couple of great tools for those of you who are big reviewers of places and points of interest. Users will now be able to add pictures to a review, enabling everyone to see them in their drunken glory during happy hour at their favorite watering hole. (On a related note, if one is prone to getting a bit tipsy and plans to use this feature, one might want to consider lending their to a trusted friend to avoid awkward socially visible pictures. Just sayin’.) Another feature, and a bit more useful, is that any reviewed places that are four stars or over will automagically show up in Google Maps when you bring it up. This will be helpful if you don’t frequent an area a lot but tend to visit. That awesome sushi bar on the corner will be front and center when you bring up Maps and you can give a quick call for your reservation. They’re a couple of minor updates to be sure, but every little tweak just goes to make Google Maps for Android that much better than the .

This of course stirred a buzz of speculation as to when Xperia owners could expect an . Sony Ericsson has recently clarified that individual’s statements as follows:

Google Inc. has further advanced upon their enduring pursuit of creating original content for millions of users with its most recent acquisition of the well-known restaurant ratings giant, Zagat. PopCap has updated the iOS app with , purchaseable with the in-game currency at Dave’s crazy store. The modes are all different and available in purchases of three each, featuring everything from a mode where you fight invisible zombies to a special bowling mode, and even a variant of PopCap’s own Bejeweled called “Beghouled Twist.” If you don’t want to earn the in-game currency yourself, PopCap’s also offering in-app purchases for in-game coins that will unlock each of the modes, so that’s another way to go.

Elsewhere on the App Store, EA has released , a free version of the Bubble Bobble-style game (along with for iPad). This version leaves multiplayer out and contains ads, while the original paid versions of the game are still online. Disney has also launched , so you can now try that one out without any additional cost.

And finally, Labs’ has gone universal, so anyone who owned the iPhone version can now download the iPad version for free.

DROID 2 Global customers were excited to finally get the , which started earlier in the week. Apparently there is a Exchange encryption issue that needs to be resolved, so they have stopped the update. They are aware of the problem, but we are not sure how long it will take to resolve it. Hopefully no more than a week or so, and of course, we will let you know when the new build is released.

If you haven’t received the update than you can stop checking for the update for now. If you already received the update, than you will receive another update when the new build is ready.
