Google Maps hit version 5.10 today, bringing a couple of great tools for those of you who are big reviewers of places and points of interest. Users will now be able to add pictures to a review, enabling everyone to see them in their drunken glory during happy hour at their favorite watering hole. (On a related note, if one is prone to getting a bit tipsy and plans to use this feature, one might want to consider lending their to a trusted friend to avoid awkward socially visible pictures. Just sayin’.) Another feature, and a bit more useful, is that any reviewed places that are four stars or over will automagically show up in Google Maps when you bring it up. This will be helpful if you don’t frequent an area a lot but tend to visit. That awesome sushi bar on the corner will be front and center when you bring up Maps and you can give a quick call for your reservation.
